Mission Statement
The Louie Run Foundation mission is to preserve the memory of those Brothers and
Sisters (motorcycle riders & supporters) that have lost their lives on the
highway, in service to our country, or otherwise. The Louie Run Foundation is a
501 (c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing moral, volunteer, and
financial support to various social services throughout the community. In
addition, The Louie Run Foundation helps to support programs that promote the
awareness of motorcycles, proper vehicle maintenance, and the necessity of safe
motorcycle riding practices. The Louie Run Foundation also provides an avenue
for individuals to demonstrate their commitment to serve the public through the
donation of time, money, and expertise.
Vision Statement
The Louie Run Foundation strives to be recognized as an organization that
improves the quality of life within the community through the involvement and
interaction of the participants and through planned contributions. The Louie Run
Foundation is a leading producer of goodwill between the general public and the
motorcycle riding "subculture". The Louie Run Foundation believes it can open
hearts and minds to arrive at a deeper understanding and appreciation for the
unique qualities of each individual and for the true beauty of a diverse
community.
Biker's Creed
As
we travel the highways of our countryside, may we experience the love of life
and adventure in the great outdoors, and one's peace of mind in our inner
self. May we safely soar with pride in one's self and one's machine, respect the
rights of others, and seek to quell all prejudices and extend the hand of
fellowship to each other. And may we all stand united against the oppressions
confronting us, with all the spirit, will, and determination, as our forefathers
once did when founding our great nation.
For We Are One Of The Last Symbols Of America's Freedom

“What a strange trip it’s been.”
Timothy Leary
Here we are 25 years later. Who would have thought what had
began as a day to remember a lost friend would evolve into sooo much more. Not
only do we continue to remember Louie as well as those that have gone before us,
Louie Run has become a pipeline for charitable contributions to a number of area
charities. In addition, Louie Run has become the unofficial up day for Northeast Ohio’s motorcycle riding community. Louie Run
also serves to focus motorcycle riders and cage drivers attention on the
necessity for safe road use practices and the consequences for failure to do so.
Louie Run is a coming together of a large number of
individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds in order to share a common
experience. For some, it’s all about the ceremony and traditions; for some, it’s
a time to connect with old friends; for others, it’s about the party. But, no
matter what the reason, YOU turned out in all kinds of weather, bad highways and
long lines to get in. Hopefully you all will continue to turn out as long as the
LOUIE RUN lives. For that, we truly thank you for the past 25 years,.
Have a safe ride to and from the Lake County Fairgrounds on
May 4th. Bring your friends, it’s going to be the best ever.
